A Zoom link will be provided once you've scheduled your audition. When you write to us, let us know your name and voice part. A prepared piece is not necessary. The audition consists of the following:

Pitch memory exercise
Sight reading
Text recitation (French, German, Latin)

2022-2023 Season Highlights include:
Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem, complemented by madrigals and motets by Vicente Lusitano. Explore the music of the first published Black composer and the last impressionist composer with Dessoff.
Sondheim Revue, honoring the legacy of Stephen Sondheim and his various works.
Bach’s St. John Passion, a lightly staged production of Bach’s St. John Passion sung in English.
The Dessoff Choirs is one of New York City’s leading choruses, and is known for pioneering performances of choral works from the pre-Baroque era through the 21st century. Rehearsals are Monday evenings, 7-10 PM on the Upper West Side.
